The role:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for information security, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of the cyber security services, that help secure our customers environments from all types of cyber-attacks. This is an exciting new role in our Security Operations Centre, where you will learn and develop your skills in defending against malware, hacking activities, and implementing security solutions across both the public and private sector. This role will give you the opportunity to learn and develop new skills with real potential for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive monitoring and development of security platforms

  • Be a key part of service roadmap development

  • Manage security incidents

  • Support on-boarding new customers

  • Perform threat hunting activities on our customers environments

  • Support customers during cyber incidents

  • Support customers with vulnerabilities affecting their organisation

  • Ensure SLAs are met, by follow up with internal and customer stakeholders for information and updates

  • Support customers with remediation activities

Requirements:

  • Cyber Security related degree or equivalent experience

  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

  • Working knowledge of public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)

  • Good written communication skills

  • Good verbal communication skills

  • Able to work under own initiative and as a team player

  • Self-starter with the aptitude to learn

  • Analytically minded

  • Ability to work in a high-paced, high-stress environment

Desirable:

  • Familiar with ticketing systems

  • Hands on experience with a SIEM/SOAR product

  • Hands on experience with vulnerability management toolsets

  • Hands on experience with Public Cloud platforms

  • Ability to communicate complex, technical scenarios at a high level

  • Presentation skills

  • Experience of working in a Security Operations Centre
