Customer Complaints Officer

Nine Twenty are working with our Manufacturing client in their need for a Customer Complaints Officer to join their team permanently with a road map to progress. 

Reporting to the Technical Manager – The Customer Complaints Officer will be responsible for managing and monitoring the Customer Complaints System ensuring requirements are met for ISO9001.

The Role:

  • Administer Customer Complaints database ensuring all appropriate complaints are recorded
  • Allocate corrective action instruction to appropriate manager
  • Perform testing on products to ascertain cause of failure
  • Communicate with customer advising the reasons for failure
  • Update and administer customer credits in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Technical and Operations to ensure prompt communication of any corrective actions
  • Lead complaints meeting ensuring accurate feedback from complaints owners is recorded
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders ensuring quality and customer service is always kept in focus

Skills required: 

  • Experienced working with a customer complaints system
  • Experience in working closely with customers to manage complaint
  • Track record in use of assertive influence on fellow employees and customer
  • IT literate with experience 
  • Knowledge of quality systems experience
