This great CRM Manager role has popped up in an expanding start-up in the southeast of London. This is a great role for someone who wants to go in and have high levels of autonomy and influence over the CRM strategy.

The business is a first of its kind subscription service that offers customers the chance to win prizes ranging from cash, and consoles through to luxury cars. The business is expanding its offering and model and will be donating significant amounts of cash to charities from the money raised.

The company is receiving rave reviews from users online and aims to become a leader in its area with high growth ahead. They have received major investment from some key players in leading industries in the UK.

The role is a Full-Time and Hybrid role based in Greater London Southeast. Driving or cycling is recommended due to the office location.

 

The Role:

To help the company realise their mission, they are looking for a motivated, creative, and highly skilled CRM Manager to complement the team and lead the CRM and email strategy to take the brand and business forward and help them build the ultimate experience for its subscribers. 

The business is going through exciting growth, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial and ambitious to take autonomy for a crucial area for the business and become a key and lead player within the business.

Requirements:

  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end process of planning, briefing and scheduling email communications, SMS messages and App notifications.
  • Designing and managing regular B2C & B2B email marketing campaigns.
  • Analysing and reporting on the performance of communications and using the data to continually improve customer satisfaction, retention and revenue performance.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing personalized remarketing strategies.
  • Assisting in the management of customer databases ensuring that GDPR guidelines are adhered to at all times.
  • Liaising with the marketing team internally to create innovative campaigns that will help the business to grow its database sizes across all communication mediums.
  • Closely monitoring email segments, continuously track KPIs to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
  • Continual reviews, A|B testing and optimisation of website landing pages ensuring that customer sign up journeys are as seamless as possible and all website forms have the highest conversion rate possible.
  • Identifying gaps in current communications strategy staying updated with key user trends that will appeal to their consumer base.
  •  Full ownership of the customer journey, identifying quick wins and implementing these changes to drive retention and revenue for the business, whilst understanding a customer’s value by channel.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in setting up automated triggered marketing programs.
  • Strong copywriting skills, organisation skills and confidence in communicating effectively across wider internal teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a drive to reach and achieve targets
  • Working knowledge of GDPR principles is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an ecommerce business is desirable.
  • Basic HTML knowledge is desirable.
  • Experience of an email marketing platform and campaign management tool desirable. E.g. Klaviyo, MailChimp or HubSpot.
  • Strong capability for analysing customer data and campaign data.
  • You will be commercially minded and driven, as well as highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data
  • Ability to segment data based on similarities.
  • Understanding of customer journey and retention strategies.
