We are growing and looking for an experienced Corporate Finance Assistant Manager to join our busy Glasgow team.

Job Purpose

To directly deliver an unrivalled corporate finance client service experience and assist in delivering the budgeted departmental internal financial performance.

Relationships & Context

  • Clients;
  • Partners and employees who are key stakeholders in job specific projects, particularly in the Corporate and Tax disciplines;
  • An initial list of key Intermediaries (clients) portfolio who provide the network and the services for business transactions to take place (solicitors, bankers, accountants, etc).

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

Job Management

  • Plan and prioritise all relevant client work projects and ensure effective workflow;
  • Establish scope and budget for each piece of client work, and implement accordingly;
  • Ensure full implementation of all client work projects in line with agreed budget ensuring adherence to both us and FCA expected Standards and Procedures;
  • Monitor work progress and ensure appropriate levels of communication with all clients, external and internal stakeholders on progress for each project/task;
  • Proactively manage instances where the ‘work done’ exceeds the agreed client fee and communicate to line manager.

Client, Internal and External Organisational Contact

  • Ensure adequate contact availability for clients, personnel and external organisations with self and team members as appropriate;
  • Return phone calls and written correspondence to all of the above within required deadline and ensure promises are kept;
  • Proactively contact clients/intermediaries when items of interest or benefit to the client arise therefore adding value.
