Our growth trajectory for 2024 and beyond is huge, we have a very exciting year ahead and are looking to grow our team with only the best talent! We are currently recruiting for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to become a key member of the senior management team, responsible for overseeing the organisation’s ongoing operations and procedures.

The COO is the company’s second-in-command and is responsible for the efficiency of the business, playing a pivotal role in strategic planning and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the company to ensure smooth, efficient processes across departments.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Manage budgets and prepare detailed reports current and forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
  • Assess and manage the principal risks of the company (proposals, projects, and staffing).
  • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed. 
  • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of professionals including department heads, to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements and is a safe and legally compliant workplace.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (required).
  • Experience: o Proven experience as COO or relevant role, managing large teams.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Experience with corporate governance.
  • A track record of driving operational improvements and achieving business objectives.

Skills:

  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc
