Nine Twenty are excited to be working with our specialist manufacturing client. The Energy Reduction Engineer- Controls bias will provide expert assistance in fault diagnosis and breakdown repair continually upgrading electrical systems to drive energy reduction.
Key responsibilities:
- To monitor energy usage and drive site energy reduction projects
- Maintenance and upkeep of tools such as cables laptops and programmes
- Support to Site Engineers during Breakdown situations including out of hours support
- Performance measurement of systems pre-work and post evaluation
- Maintenance and upkeep of tools such as cables laptops and programmes
- Support to Site Engineers during Breakdown situations including out of hours support
- To ensure continued improvement in project engineering skills through a structured development programme
- Ensure compliance with legislative, moral and European directive requirements at the site
- To manage the site’s electrical standards to ensure compliance with all Statutory Electrical Legislation, Company standards, specifications and ECOPS
- Control of contractors to ensure H&S standards are adhered to while carrying out their duties
- Ensuring no electrical accidents occur by acting as a champion for electrical safety on site
- Monitor & track project spend against pre-approved budget not to exceed the agreed project spend
- Plant performance regarding CI activities and projected improvements
