An excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing organisation in the Dufftown area as a Continuous Improvement Lead for the site. The main purpose of the role is to support the implementation of a continuous improvement program through programs such as Sigma, TPM, Visual management.
Key Responsibilities include:
- deliver improvement projects identified from the distilling they are delivered within agreed timeframe,
- Co-ordinate the development of the L & technical teams, ensuring cons
- Build strong cross functional relationships sustainable continuous improvement culture.
- Be responsible for embedding a culture of change management that is rigorously adhered to.
- Establish future trends and movements in manufacturing early adopters of continuous improvement techniques.
- Implement continuous improvement programme
To be successful for this position you should:
- Be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline, namely Mechanical, Chemical or Process.
- Have a good level of understanding in continual improvement principles, namely LEAN or Six Sigma
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience of ‘Best in Class’ manufacturing techniques, processes and principles including Lean Six Sigma is essential
- Have an analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex problems into simple solutions
