Nine Twenty Executive is delighted to be working with our new client to work exclusively on the assignment of a Chief Operation Officer. This position will be responsible for developing and monitoring Operations , Business development, Marketing and sales strategies, plans and implementations in order to meet operational excellence, meet stake holders expectations and deliver optimal performance commercially and operational.

Our client is based in the UK with their head office located within Bristol. This position will be based UK based with flexibility on home location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of operation strategies and ensures that it is properly cascaded into subsidiaries companies plans/ departmental plans in order to provide strategic clarity and to meet shareholder expectations
  • Direct the development and oversee the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls for all functions (Physical functions, Technology, Intelligence, Cyber and Government Consultants services) so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while ensuring a quality, cost-effective production output
  • Direct the preparation and consolidation of the operations budgets. Monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues
  • Foresee allocation of resources and the material planning process to ensure timely delivery, systems and procedures for effective execution of business plans. The COO needs to lead the development of subsidiary plans based on capacity, revenue forecasts and market analyses in order to ensure the timely execution of plans and compliance with quality standards
  • Ensure that the risk and crisis management strategies are in place to ensure that all risks are mitigated in a timely manner
  • Work closely with contractor companies and other similar business partners to build strategic and mutually beneficial relationships, ensuring timely resolution of any disputes
  • Establish relationships with clients and potential clients who are technically and commercially able to qualify Prequalify with new clients for Physical business functions, Academy, Technology, Intelligence, Cyber Security and Government Consulting Services, Client coverage is global reach
  • Develop and implement research and development strategies, and plans keeping the CEO updated throughout. Follow up with progress of client projects in our different functions, and ensuring that they are as per contract to client wishes
  • Oversee the implementation of  Physical functions in order to  grow the company business and revenues

Minimum Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelors in Security Management or Marine Related Field
  • 15 years in a Management Role
