An exciting role has become available to join a Global Manufacturing organisation who is currently investing heavily in a change and modernisation programme and is seeking an experienced project manager to lead a team and be responsible for Capital Projects including investigation, solution, design, estimation, implementation, installation and commissioning throughout Manufacturing. Responsible for delivering projects on time and in budget in line with stakeholder requirements and to support the delivery of the strategic vision and roadmap and to provide Project Management support for Senior & Operations Managers and provide innovative solutions to Process, Re-Engineering and Continuous Improvement projects or issues.
This is a varied role where you will be responsible for safety, CAPEX planning, Project delivery, Technical leadership and team leadership and will require someone comfortable spinning lots of plates at any one time. The client is looking for someone with high standards when it comes to Quality and safety and who can demonstrate their knowledge and capabilities in managing large scale projects through a team of experts. They are seeking someone innovative and forward thinking when it comes to new technologies and who has the influence to be able to implement this within tight timescales. They would like someone commercially focussed who understands the importance of working within budgets, deadlines and who can analyse data in to use in decision making.
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered engineer with vast experience in managing project teams who is able to implement governance and discipline when approaching projects and who can coach and develop the teams through change. Along with this, having a strong understanding of high value projects in a manufacturing environment will be key.
