Title: Business Development Manager (EMEA)       

Salary: Up to £65,000 + uncapped OTE

Location: Remote, UK (Office based in Glasgow)

 

Looking for a new challenge? An established US agency is expanding its European team and seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their ranks and be a key player in their expansion. 

 

This global agency operates in the US, UK, Asia, and beyond, specialising in Advertising and Marketing. Their expertise lies in helping Brands create innovative Channel Marketing and Merchandising Strategies, using Data and Analytics to boost revenue for targeted retailers.

The Role

 

As the primary point of contact for potential clients, you'll collaborate with the Director of EMEA to identify new opportunities and expertly guide prospects through the entire sales process.

You'll foster streamlined onboarding processes, utilise HubSpot for client interactions, and define sales strategies. Success in this role means achieving set sales goals and ensuring relevant certifications, while also promoting cross-departmental collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director of EMEA to identify new business opportunities from brands and agencies.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including outbound sales efforts.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences to attract new clients.
  • Support the Director of EMEA with large RFPs, sales projects and help with growth among the BD team.
  • Maintain rate card pricing for e-Commerce and Advertising partnerships.
  • Coordinate with internal Account Management teams to streamline onboarding and minimize issues.
  • Use HubSpot for client interactions, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Define sales segmentation for Business Development Executives.
  • Achieve defined sales goals by the SLT.
  • Ensure required platform and partner certifications.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Promote cross-departmental communication and collaboration.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of client-facing experience in digital marketing or advertising.
  • Demonstrated success in Business Development, Sales, or B2B roles.
  • Experience in PPC, Amazon Advertising, or eCommerce. Familiarity with Demand Side Platform (DSP) is highly advantageous.
  • Proficiency in all Business Development activities including lead gen, lead qualification, and relationship building.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to close deals.
  • A relevant degree is preferable.
  • Excellent analytical and qualitative skills.
  • Exceptional organization and prioritization skills, with a commitment to closing open matters.
  • Proficient in standard office software, including MS Office and G Suite; intermediate or advanced Excel skills are a bonus.
  • A track record of driving personal and professional development.
