Title: Business Development Manager

Location: London (Southeast)

Salary: Up to £45,000 base + OTE of £75k

Contract: Full time, permanent

 

An exciting and lucrative opportunity for Business Development professionals has arisen within a Southeast London startup. The organisation has already secured contracts with big names like Sky and O2 and are looking for the right person to help elevate their success and initiate relationships with clients, from small to enterprise level accounts.  

The business is a first of its kind subscription service that offers customers the chance to win prizes ranging from cash, and consoles through to luxury cars. The business is expanding its offering and model and will be donating significant amounts of cash to charities from the money raised. The company is receiving rave reviews from users online and aims to become a leader in its area with high growth ahead. They have received major investment from some key players in leading industries within the UK.

The role is a Full-Time contract operating on a hybrid model, based in Greater London Southeast. Driving or cycling is recommended due to the office location. Also accessible by train.

 

The Role:

The Business Development Manager role is perfect for anyone with experience creating and handling important partnerships which boost sales and grow market reach. This position demands a motivated and results-orientated person who is great at building relationships and has a solid grasp of sales strategies and partnership management.

Responsibilities

  • Discover and evaluate potential partners to aid the company's growth objectives.
  • Create and execute strategies to build and sustain strong connections with key partners.
  • Negotiate and secure partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial conditions.
  • Work with team members to integrate partnership prospects into the overall sales strategy.
  • Track and assess partner performance to maximize sales efforts and ensure target fulfilment.
  • Hold regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and align on future initiatives.
  • Perform market research to uncover trends, the competitive landscape, and new partnership opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales, business development, partnership management or similar.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver on lead generation efforts and growing strategic partnerships.
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
