About You

You will have finance experience, with a flexible approach to work, high integrity, and experience in working with managing confidential financial information.  You preferably should have a good knowledge of betting and i-gaming, but it's more important that you're organized, have great communication and presentation skills, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team and building great relationships. 

The Role

In this role, you will be reporting to the Chief Finance Officer. The successful candidate will need to have strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, good organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software. The Finance Assistant will be assisting in maintaining financial records, as well as invoicing, and reviewing, and reconciling bank accounts, among other dedicated duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and financial statements including double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Assisting with forecasting.
  • Creating, sending, and following up on payment of invoices.
  • Recording bills and paying suppliers.
  • Carrying out the bank and other reconciliations.
  • Collecting and reviewing data for financial reports.
  • Coordinating payroll and preparing salary payments for employees.
  • Assisting in equity raises including handling Enterprise Investment Scheme applications and communicating with new investors and existing shareholders.
  • Maintaining the statutory company books.

Requirements: 

  • Degree in accounting or finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and Xero accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills.
