The Role:

The business is looking for a commercially aware, organised, and energetic individual to support the commercial team with new business and client growth opportunities.

  • Coordinate and manage new proposal/tender from brief through to completed submissions.
  • Liaise with various teams of specialists to ensure all relevant information is included in the final proposal.
  • Manage and track the process of new briefs from potential new business opportunities.
  • Proposal and tender preparation, including strategy development for new and existing clients.
  • Design, collate and proof the bid (tenders/proposals) before final submission, ensuring standard formatting and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct research into the client and user to deliver bespoke documents.
  • Work to specific and changing deadlines.
  • Monitor success rate of proposal/tender submissions.
  • Create presentations to assist with identifying growth opportunities for current clients.
  • Prepare and submit Awards entries.
  • Create case studies of relevant work to support new business opportunities and to support marketing.
  • Manage and maintain a bank of templates to help streamline the new business bidding process.
  • Consistently learn and develop your own skills, as well as staying abreast of the latest digital trends.

Requirements:

  • A degree level (or equivalent) qualification preferably in Marketing/Advertising, with a solid understanding of Marketing OR previous Marketing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in bid writing/coordinating for tender/new business proposals.
  • Experience in desktop research for bids/tender/new business proposals.
  • Meticulous spelling, grammar, and good attention to detail.
  • Proficient formatting abilities across MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent presentation creation skills.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and project manage.
