Nine Twenty Technology are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client – a market-leading supplier of healthcare software with an impressive international customer base. They are looking for a talented Software Developer who will make a significant contribution to the future success of the business.

My client’s solutions are complemented by a range of professional services that utilize emerging data standards and leverage the vendor-neutral partnerships they have established.

About the Role:
With a track record of successful product development in a customer-focused company, preferably an SME, you should have demonstrable skills, experience and interests in a substantial number of the following:

  • JVM-based Scala or Java-based software development.
  • Test driven development.
  • Functional programming and modular system design.
  • Code optimisation and performance tuning.
  • Linux based (or UNIX equivalent) configuration and deployment.
  • Server-side security and performance testing.

We are looking for a self-starter with attention to detail. You will also have the opportunity, from time to time, to work in refining and designing architectural components that form part of a larger system.

We also expect you to be experienced and competent with a broad range of version-control, task management, building, and analysis tools. In the back-end team we currently use Git, Jira, and sbt.

We’re Agile – you should be too – with a good understanding of the principles behind modern development processes such as Kanban, Scrum and Continuous Integration Testing.

We’re fast-paced with a strong focus on understanding our customers and their needs. You will be able to influence what we do across the entire application stack – database infrastructure/domain modelling/server side workflows/front-end workflows – and make a difference to what we deliver.

If you are interested in this opportunity please forward your CV for the attention of John –
