The role:

Nine Twenty Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with one of the leading and fastest growing Cloud providers in Europe who are looking for an Azure Practice Lead to lead a team of highly skilled Cloud experts in the technical delivery and quality assurance of all Azure projects. You will drive the strategic growth, core account planning activities and support all pre-sales activities. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define the Azure Practice and technology to lead the business in Azure
  • Oversee all aspects of the successful functioning of direct reports
  • Support all pre-sales activities for the practice. 
  • Produce all level design documentation to a high technical standard
  • Guide clients on Azure platform enhancements, ensuring industry and Microsoft best practices are adhered to
  • Advice on technical solutions which meet customer requirements. 
  • Keep up to date with Azure Services and maintain technical skills and knowledge, collaborating with the technical community to watch market trends

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience delivering Azure infrastructure. 
  • Deep technical knowledge of Solution Architecture in Azure.
  • Experienced in a leadership role
  • Strong sense of commercial awareness and experience in creating and scoping proposals of a high level of quality.
  • Relevant Azure Certifications, Ideally at an Expert level
  • Experienced in a client facing role. 

Desirable:

  • Experience with a managed service provider
  • Experience as a pre-sales consultant
  • Experience of leading a technical team.
