I am working closely with my client who is a leading manufacturing organisation with a presence Globally who are seeking an Allocations and Analytics Manager to be based in their busy Glasgow site. The focus for this position will be to develop a supply chain analytics capability for the business, to provide a service to other teams and departments in the Supply Chain which delivers excellent and accurate reporting and analysis. You will lead a small team of experts in data management and analytics and you will be tasked to look for continuous improvement of the analytics capability.
There is a great opportunity here to join one of the largest premium spirits businesses in the World and develop the capability of the analytics team. You will have the opportunity to lead and implement change of the team and also write the strategy for the department moving forward.
This role requires someone who enjoys being busy and working in a deadline driven environment, who can make decisions and be fairly autonomous in running a department. Ideal candidates will come from a strong analytics and reporting background in the FMCG space, have a good understanding of analytics technology and be a strong leader of people who can inspire. You will have advanced Excel skills, knowledge of SAP and be able to present and influence at a senior level.
