About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced AI Manager to join a newly established, high-impact AI function within an international organisation operating across multiple markets. This role sits within a central analytics and transformation team and will play a key part in accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence across the business.
The position offers the chance to work at the forefront of AI strategy and execution, partnering with senior stakeholders to turn innovative ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping standards, influencing adoption, and embedding responsible AI practices across the organisation.
The Team
You will join a newly formed AI Centre of Enablement, created to drive measurable business outcomes through responsible AI adoption. The team operates across two core areas: AI advisory and governance, and hands-on engineering and delivery.
Working closely with analytics, data, and business teams, you will support initiatives spanning portfolio management, pricing transformation, advanced analytics, and risk management. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory
- Act as an internal AI consultant, supporting a wide range of business needs
- Translate business challenges into clear AI use cases with defined success metrics
- Support solution design, including build vs buy decisions
- Conduct ROI assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Evaluate and manage third-party vendors, including creating comparison frameworks
- Support AI solution development, including prompt design and agent-based systems
Education and Adoption
- Promote AI use cases and success stories across the organisation
- Build and maintain communities of practice and leadership forums
- Partner with learning teams to design and deliver AI training programmes
- Track adoption, usage, and impact, feeding insights into leadership reporting
Governance
- Support the development and maintenance of AI governance frameworks aligned to regulatory requirements
- Maintain a central inventory of AI tools, models, and integrations
- Ensure appropriate controls and risk mitigation processes are in place
- Embed responsible AI practices across day-to-day operations
Coordination
- Provide oversight of smaller AI initiatives, ensuring delivery against timelines and objectives
- Act as a key point of coordination between business, technology, and data teams
- Identify and resolve delivery risks and blockers
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in business partnering, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
- Good understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly large language models, including their capabilities and limitations
- Familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms, such as Copilot or similar technologies
- Experience working within governance, compliance, or regulated environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
- Experience driving change and promoting adoption of new technologies
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on delivering measurable value
