A new role as an Account Manager has arisen within an independent agency that is part of the leading global network of independent agencies. Founded in the early 2000s the business has grown to have a market-leading team of over 50 with two offices across the UK with ambitions for growth. With culture and people being paramount, the agency cares deeply about humans in and out of the agency, with a particular focus on the planet and our impact on it.

You will work in a Hybrid role within this agency, so you could ideally be based anywhere in the central belt. Flexibility offered.

 

The Role:

This role will sit within the client services team working with big names clients across several sectors. If you’re amazing at providing your clients the best possible service and are able to generate growth read on. You should also be able to get under their skin, but also be able to say no. Most importantly, you should care about people.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage a group of client accounts.
  • Lead on day-to-day client communication with allocated clients.
  • Develop strong and lasting client relationships.
  • Support the Client Services team in delivering on growth plans.
  • Follow resourcing process to deliver agreed resource.
  • Work with agency heads of departments ensuring all phases of client work is delivered on time achieving best-in-class standards.
  • Work closely with the Client Services team in revenue forecasting and delivery.
  • Gain an understanding of the partner technologies that they work with e.g., Adobe and Google. 
  • Through our brand values play a key role in exceeding client expectations.  
  • Building strong relationships to nurture and grow your client accounts.

Requirements:

  • Experience in account management (at least 3 years).
  • Digital agency-side background.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of digital marketing and associated technologies - with experience in SEO projects.
  • Proven experience in client growth. 
  • Exceptional client relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.  
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple client accounts and tasks. 
  • Commercial focus.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects for clients.
