Time Served and Beyond - A Career Path from Maintenance

Time Served and Beyond - A Career Path from Maintenance

Aaron Snood

At Nine Twenty Recruitment, our specialist recruiters in manufacturing have identified the desire and ambition that Maintenance Engineers have for career progression. A recent poll carried out by one of our recruiters asked Engineers "As an Engineer, what are you attracted to, and feel is most important in a future role?"

Participants could answer from four options:
  • Opportunity to make an impact

  • Development opportunities

  • Salary and benefits

  • Culture of workplace

Out of 114 votes, the highest number of votes was for development opportunities.

Due to this, Nine Twenty Recruitment are proud to announce that we are hosting an event for Maintenance Engineers that want to understand the different career paths that they can take to progress their career. We will be using our network and connections to help showcase other routes and options into the maintenance industry.

We will be welcoming three speakers from the industry to share their experience and journey of their career, who started as engineers but have moved into a different space as they progressed. They will share hints and tips for anyone who is considering their options for the future.

The event will be hosted in the City Centre of Glasgow and will take place on Thursday the 16th of June at 6pm until 8pm. You will have the opportunity to network with great people and enjoy some food and drink. This is an event not to be missed if you want to develop your career opportunities. Follow us and keep your eyes peeled on our LinkedIn for more information about the event.
