Looking for a really dull job in IT?

Well that’s a pity. Because Nine Twenty Technology are working on an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Web Developer with a passion for technology, a hunger for hands-on experience and the kind of curiosity about IT that would dispatch most felines to an early grave. So it’s probably not your kind of thing…

At Exmos they make IT pain-free for more and more businesses by thinking innovatively around our customers’ issues and providing leading edge technology to help improve staff productivity and business efficiency. They work with privately-owned, mid-size SMEs right up to fairly substantial global corporations and we deliver networking, custom software development and ongoing customer support in the UK, Europe and USA, from our base in Grangemouth, Central Scotland.

Innovation is key to the Exmos approach so, like them, you’ll have a natural curiosity about technical potential and product limitations. It goes without saying (but we’ll say it anyway) that you’ll pick up new IT skills at an almost superhuman pace and hone them to perfection in your own time as well as during office hours.  Accuracy, attention to detail and impressive technical skills are absolutely critical and you’ll bring positive gusts of energy and enthusiasm to work with you.

Working with senior developers to design solutions to customer requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Middle tier development (C#)
  • Database development (Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Client development (HTML, CSS)
  • JavaScript, MVC and WPF
  • Ongoing development of SentiLANTM (our bespoke RMM platform)
  • Estimating and managing your tasks to meet deadlines

You will have exposure to the latest amazing technologies including Xamarin, Microsoft Azure and the latest JavaScript libraries.

Exmos is a Microsoft Certified Partner and while they work predominantly with Microsoft products, they also work with open source and non-Microsoft tools such as Kiln/Mercurial (Source Control), Nuget (Package Management), PHP and MySQL. They also support all of their developers to work towards Microsoft certifications.

If you have a relevant degree and (ideally, but not essentially) experience in C#, SQL (T-SQL preferred), HTML, Javascript and CSS as well as WPF, ASP.net, Webservices (WCF, Signalr), Umbraco, Winforms and VB.net then we’d love to hear from you.

To be considered for this role, please submit your CV for consideration by Nine Twenty Technology consultant Joanne Steggell who is managing this vacancy.
