We are delighted to be currently working with a leading national residential care provider to assist with the recruitment of a number of RGN/ RMN for their care home in Dundee.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Nurse to use their current skill set and develop their career within the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities for Registered General/ Mental Nurse:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate Residents’ health and social care needs
- Create and maintain an environment in which all employees can contribute to providing a high standard of skilled nursing care and personalised support to Residents
- Help people live a full and enjoyable life within their own capabilities in the Home
- Demonstrate excellence in the delivery of all clinical procedures related to Resident care
- Ensure Nursing administrative processes are delivered efficiently to legislative requirements and accurate information is reported to the Home Manager
- Take responsibility as the person in charge when required
Essential Qualities and Skills:
- A qualified Nurse (RGN or RMN), with an active NMC PIN number, or the ability to apply for PIN number within three months
- Genuine interest in working with the relevant Resident group
- Satisfactory Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check
- Strong team player, seen as a credible role model to all Employees
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Flexibility to work shifts
- Act with the utmost integrity at all times
Desired Qualities and Skills:
- Previous experience working in a residential care setting would be an advantage
- Some previous supervisory experience would be beneficial but not essential
