The Role
We are looking for an outstanding Software Developer to join a small, yet accomplished and talented team in Central Glasgow. You will be responsible for raising the bar vs. industry standards through innovative software solutions.
You will join a team with full autonomy on the technology and operations, giving you the responsibility and authority to ensure success. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, so the ideal applicant will have solved complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices to building applications that are scaled and performed.

The Candidate
We are keen to hear from Software Developers with a proven track record and demonstrable skills in the below:
- Experienced in Java/J2EE Application Development.
- Proficient in the use of JavaScript related technologies (AngularJS, NodeJS etc.)
- Database technologies (NoSQL preferred).
- Experience of Web Services (REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML).
- App Server or Apache/Tomcat deployment methods.
- Experience in Software Architecture, Design and Development in multi-tiered enterprise Web Applications.
- Experience working in an Agile/TDD environment.
- Strong oral and written communication.
- Degree qualification in Software Engineering or related discipline.
