Nine Twenty Technology are excited to bring you the opportunity to work with a Market leading Technology and Telecommunications company with offices across the world. This particular role is a DevOps Technical Manager position and will be based from our client's Glasgow based office.
This role of Technical Manager is responsible for leading their teams in the design and development of systems that keep our client's solutions ahead of the pack, and their product engineers enabled with world class DevOps processes and tooling. As a line manager, you will also be responsible for the personal development, progression and general welfare of your team.
This role will work closely with engineers, architects, product owners, infrastructure and project managers, providing technical leadership to define the road map and delivering new features to the market as well as having a hands-on role in the planning, execution and successful delivery of state of the art solutions.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need the following skills:
- A Computer Science degree or similar
- Experience in an internet economy culture, or other similarly scaled tech environmen
- Deep familiarity with DevOps culture, processes and tools
- Line management experience or similar (e.g. project management, coaching & mentoring
- A background in software development or engineering
- Experience working with configuration management, multiple development languages, deployment processes, operations, scalable web architectures, cloud (AWS) and Agile practices
- A track record of inspiring teammates with your passion and vision
