Nine Twenty Technology are working with one of our global IT clients to recruit an Infrastructure Architect on a contract basis to work on a major Data Centre Migration project. The role of Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for governing infrastructure platforms and architectural designs around the data centre migrations and other key technical project
Essential Experience:
- Extensive experience within infrastructure platforms and software at an enterprise level including (data centres, SANs, hypervisors and back up libraries)
- Experience of delivery IT Architect positions including providing IT services within a large organisation where a high quality infrastructure is critical to operations.
- Post technical library knowledge or experience in 3 or more the following ( IBM/Lenvo compute infrastructure Blades & Blade centres, IBM storage virtualisation, IBM Storage, Cisco Nexus, TSM backup SRM or other VM orchestration/Zerto/F5, Netsacler or other load balancing infrastructure, Colocation facility management & Virtual Machine migration)
- Must have ability to write high and low level design documents with expertise in modelling tools
- Extensive experience of working on Data Centre migration projects including working with virtual teams.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement will be necessary for communication on this project
