Nine Twenty Business Services are delighted to be working with our Glasgow based Accounts Firm to recruit a new Part Qualified Accounts Assistant. Initially, this will be a Fixed Term Contract with a view to going permanent.
This role will be to work under and support the Accounts Senior and is ideal for candidates from a practice background who have a solid knowledge of IRIS. This is a great opportunity to work for a well-known established practice with a handy city centre location.
The main responsibilities:
- Preparing accounts for a range of clients including limited companies
- Preparing all annual accounts for Soles Traders, Ltd Companies and Partnerships
- Responsible for checking all VAT reports in preparation for submission to HRMC
- Responsible for all accounts , incomplete records and VAT and tax returns
- Analysing and preparing financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
- Handling any client queries
- Adhoc duties as required
