On behalf of a key client and due to growth within the business, 9-20 is recruiting for an experienced B2B Field Sales Professional for the position of Regional Account manager covering the West of Scotland and N. Ireland.  The successful applicant will be responsible for retaining, growing and maximising all sales opportunities with existing intermediary partners across Scotland West/Northern Ireland.

Based from home, the successful candidate will also be required, as the business demands, to identify and recruit new intermediary relationships within a defined geographical territory using the full strength of the company’s’ proposition.

Your existing portfolio will all be existing intermediary partners and classically be a mix of IFA’s, Will Writers, Solicitors, and Financial Intermediaries and Contact Centre operations.

The client seeks motivated and enthusiastic business professionals who can demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality service, with excellent communication, account management and interpersonal skills as well as a burning desire to succeed. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, target driven with a strong understanding of Business Development, preferably gained within the Intermediary or Retail Financial Services sector.

Candidates selected for interview will be expected to demonstrate their relevance for the role by way of a documented, proven sales track record/sales portfolio which will be reviewed and discussed at interview stage.

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Build a strong, effective and productive multi-function, multi-level relationships with your existing intermediary partners
  • Develop & implement effective strategic business & promotional plans for our Prepaid Funeral Plans and Legal Services
  • Support all Head Office activities
  • Provide feedback on a regular basis on the effectiveness of delivery, display and promotion of products and activities
  • Ensure the company values and culture is maintained at all times
  • Play an integral role in supporting the management team
  • Ensure that the company standards of performance are maintained at all times.

 

Experience should ideally be gained from a B2B and/or D2C environment

Location: Home based, but must be willing to travel.

Hours: 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday (Some evening and weekend work may be required)

Salary: circa £30,000, OTE £40-£50,000
